Detailed description

The tour starts in the morning from Split, with a scenic drive through the beautiful landscapes of Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The journey to Mostar takes approximately two and a half to three hours, depending on the traffic and border crossing.

Upon arrival in Mostar, you will explore the city’s old town, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The highlight of the tour is the famous Stari Most (Old Bridge), a magnificent Ottoman-era bridge that has become a symbol of Mostar. Visitors can walk across the bridge, admire the picturesque view of the Neretva River, and explore the cobblestone streets lined with shops, cafes, and traditional Bosnian houses.

After exploring Mostar, the tour continues to Međugorje, which is approximately 30 minutes away. Međugorje is renowned for the reported apparitions of the Virgin Mary and has become a significant pilgrimage site for devout Catholics. We will visit the Apparition Hill, the Church of St. James, and other religious sites, and also attend Mass if you wish.

Throughout the tour, visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the history, culture, and religious significance of these two destinations from our knowledgeable guide. They can also indulge in local cuisine and experience the unique blend of Ottoman and European influences that make Mostar and Međugorje special.

After a full day of exploration, the tour returns to Split in the evening. Overall, a Mostar and Međugorje tour from Split offers a memorable experience, combining history, culture, and spirituality in two remarkable destinations in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
